  Are the G.B.members really good business people ?

  if i was an author of a book i think i would be over the moon if i was guaranteed a sale of around 5 million or more books for my work.. the jehovah`s witnesses have over 8 million members plus relatives that are fringe dwellers who come to the memorial once a year ,.

  so what a gold mine they have been sitting on as a publishing house .. why didn`t they keep publishing books for the faithful ,they could have even upped the price , and the faithful would have paid especially in prosperous country`s in the west.. they could have milked this venture for years to come as the faithful would have bought anything they would have published .. and their prophets (profits) would have soared ,literally and figuratively for many more years to come ..

  Why didn`t they keep publishing books for the faithful ,they could have even upped the price , and the faithful would have paid especially in prosperous country`s in the west.

  I think their offering the books for free to avoid paying taxes plan has backfired and really bit them in the ass big time.

  They(GB) are very small minded men full of Faithful and Discreet Slave bull shit, they are in denial big time over their not being Jehovah's F&DS and many failed end of the world predictions, not to mention massive coverups in all kinds of shady goings on, so they are bound to fuck up big time, because their brains don't work so good when the shit really hits the fan.

  i hear that a hall was burned down in washington state.

  was shot at numerous times.

  is the wbts that desperate to merge congo's and collect insurance money and now the land has no building on it the land can be sold with no demo expense.

  The destruction of one's family relationships with the wave of Kingdom Hall authority administered without mercy could bring on such retaliation, I'm surprised this hasn't happened many times last Kingdom Hall fire I remember was by a very mad Korean unbelieving husband over his wife's attendance and that was many years ago perhaps 20 or so.

  I would expect since the Society has no insurance on KH property that some might capitalize on this fact to deny profits to this ugly Corporation. So I could easily see this becoming more common as time goes on.

  I would like to think that the WT corporation will start selling all it's property soon to avoid too much property value losses as their notorious nature as a blood sucking mind control cult becomes common place knowledge all over the worldwide web.

  "The Branch did not approve of us to get a video security system"

  this was the reply i was given by our coordinator at our recent kingdom hall security meeting.. he explained that they aren't allowed to buy any appliances or do any changes to the kingdom hall without branch approval.

  "we put in our letter that a video security system could be purchased for around $600 locally and an app could be downloaded for the attendants to monitor the cameras what's going onoutside.

  " they said;" such a system would not be needed in our area of the country, if standard protocols of security are followed as outline by the branch.

  He went on to say that the Branch reminded them that at anytime that they have an access of funds on hand, that these funds should be forwarded to the Branch.

  They got to be hurting big time! JJ, looks like a very big sell off is planned in the future, only changes that would increase profits at time of sale will get consideration from the branch I bet.

  I think that with AI overtaking human intelligence is bound to happen it is just a matter of when. As they reverse engineer the human brain and discover more and more about human intelligence on the nanoscale. They will be able to build a intelligence without any emotional biases(that eat up processing power) like the human mind has.

  AI with rights just like human beings, I'm sure a merging of humans with machine on the nanoscale will keep on progressing to the point of reaching some type of singularity it is just a matter of when and there is no turning back.

  I kind of see it as a person choice some will not want to merge on the nanoscale but as time goes on they will be fewer and fewer because the advantages will out weigh the disadvantages by a wide margin.

  The Age of Intelligent Machines[edit]

  Kurzweil's first book, The Age of Intelligent Machines, was published in 1990. It forecast the demise of the already crumpling Soviet Union due to new technologies such as cellular phones and fax machines disempowering authoritarian governments by removing state control over the flow of information.[1] In 2005, Mikhail Gorbachev told Kurzweil that emerging decentralized electronic communication "was a big factor" for fostering democracy in the Soviet Union.[2]

  Kurzweil extrapolated the performance of chess software to predict that computers would beat the best human players "by the year 2000".[3] In May 1997 chess World Champion Garry Kasparov was defeated by IBM's Deep Blue computer in a well-publicized chess tournament.[4]

  Perhaps most significantly, Kurzweil foresaw the explosive growth in worldwide Internet use that began in the 1990s.[5] At the time of the publication of The Age of Intelligent Machines, there were only 2.6 million Internet users in the world,[6] and the medium was often unreliable outside academic, military, corporate and other heavily invested settings, difficult for non-technical users to use, and mostly lacking a broad range of content. He also stated that the Internet would explode not only in the number of users but in content as well, eventually granting users access "to international networks of libraries, data bases, and information services".[This quote needs a citation] Additionally, Kurzweil correctly foresaw that the preferred mode of Internet access would inevitably be through wireless systems, and he was also correct to estimate that the latter would become practical for widespread use in the early 21st century.[citation needed]
  

  The Age of Spiritual Machines[edit]

  In 1999, Kurzweil published a second book titled The Age of Spiritual Machines, which goes into more depth explaining his futurist ideas. The third and final section of the book is devoted to elucidating the specific course of technological advancements Kurzweil believes the world will experience over the next century. Titled "To Face the Future", the section is divided into four chapters respectively named "2009", "2019", "2029", and "2099".   Maybe just the crust of Mars might be cheese but not neccesarily delicious that may all depend on if you're a Martian with taste buds that love that kind of powdery martian cheese. But don't expect any creamy center for Mars made of molten cheese, I expect some heavy metals at its core.

  I'm 3/4 thru a dvd "Nixon" by Oliver Stone, Anthony Hopkins does a great job as Nixon. You get the wrong man in power you got trouble. BTW how is the American voting public supposed to know if a candidate is a psychopath as Nixon was? That is a big problem with a dumbed down voting public, it is easy to fool them.
